Overview
Results are presented as an excel spreadsheet. The results spreadsheet is a visual add-on to the uploaded import file provided by the user. The result file will contain two additional columns:
- Result - See below for more details.
- Description - An explanation for the result.
In addition to the Result and Description column; All errors and warnings will make an attempt to narrow down the direct cause of an issue by high-lighting the column(s)
for the corresponding row. Fully-high-lighted columns are generally errors reported by the web services and therefore may take additional time to locate the issue.
Result
There are four different result types:
- Success - Row imported with no issue.
- Warning - Generally displayed in an attempt to add or update data that already reflects the data in the LMS.
- Error - Row failed to import, check the description for further details.
- Skipped - Row was not processed, generally occurs when the task is aborted or there was a fatal error while processing the task.
How To Access Results
Login and click on History in the "Special Category" section. Locate the Task on the results page and click the download button. The result file (zipped excel spreadsheet) will begin downloading and a message box will pop-up displaying a temporary password that is required to unzip the results.
