Site Settings

Overview

Settings are site wide, all Percepium LMS administrators have access to changing the site settings by navigating to the Category page and clicking the "Settings" button in the "Special Categories" section.

Settings

There are currently 5 settings:

  1. Email Task Results - When enabled, this setting will notify the user when their task is finished via email. Note: Once this setting is enabled, all users who access this site are required to have an up-to-date email address within their LMS account.
  2. SSL Certificate - This should be enabled on LMS sites that have an SSL certificate, otherwise, this setting should be disabled. It is recommended that this setting should be enabled and ALL LMS sites to have an SSL certificate.
  3. Request Timeout - This setting determines how long a DOTS Link should wait for a web service reply from a request. This should only be changed if there are connection issues.
  4. Record Limit - DOTS Link caches web service results. This setting changes the maximum amount of records to return per-web service request. This should only be changed if there are performance issues on large sites.
