Task Progress

Overview

The user will see this page if there is a task currently in progress. The task can be aborted by clicking on the "Abort Task" button located at the bottom of the page (Note: Aborted tasks do not revert any data alterations performed by the task). Users can log out while a task is being processed. Once a task is complete & a user is logged in; a notification will be displayed to the user, the user can then choose to either go to Task History by clicking on the "Task History" button on the notification, or be redirected to the Category page by clicking the "Complete" button on the message. Result summaries will be emailed to a user if the "email task result" setting is enabled. See here for more details.

Task Completion

While the user is still logged into DOTS Link and a task completes, they will receive a notification informing them that the task is complete. This notification will direct the user to view the task history page (to view the results of the task) or return to the Category page to begin a new task. If the user has the "Email task results" setting enabled, they will be notified via email upon task completion. See "Site Settings" for further details.
